Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 September 2026 — covers Civitas and Flock Frenzy

Overview

OlynaD Games is a game studio based in Lviv, Ukraine ("OlynaD Games", "we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information the OlynaD Games titles — currently Civitas and Flock Frenzy — collect, why, and what you can do about it.

The short version: the games don't ask who you are. There's no account, no login, and no sign-up. What is collected is technical data, gathered automatically by the app stores and by the partners each game uses. Civitas uses an advertising partner. Flock Frenzy shows no ads, but uses analytics and install-attribution partners to understand how the game is played and how players find it.

Information collected

The games do not require an account and never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or other personal details in order to play. OlynaD Games runs no server of its own. What follows is collected automatically by the app stores and by the partners described below:

  • Device information — device model, operating system version, language, region, and app version
  • Identifiers — your device's advertising ID, and in Flock Frenzy also random identifiers that the analytics services create for your installation and your play sessions (on Android this can include the app set ID)
  • Approximate location — derived from your IP address. This is area-level, typically your city or country. The games never request GPS or precise location access.
  • Gameplay activity (Flock Frenzy) — when you play and for how long, which level or mode you start and finish, whether you complete it, your score, and similar in-game events
  • Performance data (Flock Frenzy) — frame rate, memory use and battery level, used to find devices where the game runs badly
  • Install attribution data (Flock Frenzy) — whether you installed the game after seeing or tapping one of its ads, and which campaign that ad belonged to
  • Crash and diagnostic reports — collected by Google Play and by Apple when a game stops working, and in Flock Frenzy also error reports sent to GameAnalytics, so the fault can be found and fixed

Civitas contains no analytics or attribution service: nothing in it measures how long you play or which levels you reach. Its advertising partner does record ad events — that an ad was requested, shown, or tapped — because that is how the ads are paid for.

Your saved game — level progress, achievements, high scores — lives on your device. It isn't uploaded to any server run by OlynaD Games, which also means it isn't backed up by us and can't be restored by us.

If you email support, we'll have whatever information you choose to put in that email, including your address, for as long as needed to answer you.

How that information is used

  • To make the games work and keep progress saved on your device
  • To diagnose crashes and performance problems, and fix bugs
  • To understand how Flock Frenzy is played — where players get stuck, which levels are too hard, how long sessions last — and to improve it
  • To measure the marketing campaigns that promote Flock Frenzy, including a publishing test run with our publishing partner, Voodoo
  • To show ads in Civitas, to avoid repeating the same ad at you, and to measure whether those ads worked
  • To answer you when you get in touch

OlynaD Games does not sell your data for money. Personalised advertising in Civitas, and campaign measurement in Flock Frenzy, do involve passing your device's advertising ID to the partners listed below, which several privacy laws treat as "sharing" — and some as a "sale". What that means, and how to stop it.

Analytics and attribution in Flock Frenzy

Flock Frenzy includes TinySauce, a software kit from our publishing partner Voodoo (Voodoo SAS, Paris, France). It contains four services:

  • GameAnalytics — records play sessions, progress through levels, other in-game events and error reports, together with device information, so we can see how the game is played.
  • Voodoo Analytics — sends the same kind of gameplay, device and performance data to Voodoo, which uses it to evaluate and improve the game as its publisher.
  • Adjust — records installs and app sessions, and works out whether an install came from an advertising campaign, and which one.
  • Meta (Facebook) SDK — reports app installs, launches and some in-game events back to Meta, so campaigns for Flock Frenzy on Facebook and Instagram can be measured.

We see the results mostly as totals and averages — for example, how many players finished a level — rather than as a record of what one person did.

If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Flock Frenzy asks for your consent when you first open it, before any of these services start. You can accept, decline, or choose separately for analytics and for attribution; if you decline, those services are not started. The consent request also asks you to confirm that you are at least 16.

Everywhere else these services run by default, and the device controls under Your choices limit what they can use. On iPhone, the advertising identifier is only read if you allow tracking when the app asks.

Advertising

Flock Frenzy currently shows no ads.

Civitas is free, and ads are what pay for it. It shows ads through Google AdMob directly.

AdMob receives your device's advertising ID, the approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device details, and uses them to pick an ad and measure what happened next. OlynaD Games does not receive that data — we see only totals of how many ads were shown and what they earned.

You can opt out of personalised ads at any time — see Your choices below. Opting out doesn't remove ads. It makes them less specific to you, and the network is still contacted in order to serve a non-personalised one.

If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Civitas shows a consent request — built on Google's User Messaging Platform — asking whether your data may be used for personalised advertising. Nothing personalised happens unless you agree.

Everywhere else, the device-level controls under Your choices are the way to limit ad personalisation.

Third-party services

The games rely on a small number of third-party services. Each one handles data under its own privacy policy:

Children's privacy

The OlynaD Games titles are not directed at children under 13, are not enrolled in Google Play's Designed for Families programme, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the games are not aimed at children, the advertising, analytics and attribution services described above are not operated in child-directed mode. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please email us and it will be deleted.

Data retention and security

Data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described here. Support emails are kept while the conversation is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Data held by third parties — GameAnalytics, Voodoo, Adjust, Meta, Google, Apple — is retained according to their own policies, which the links above will take you to.

Traffic between the games, the app stores, and these partners travels over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Reasonable steps are taken to protect the limited information involved, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.

International transfers

OlynaD Games operates from Ukraine, and the third-party services listed above process data on servers in other countries, including the European Union and the United States. Where required, those providers rely on legal transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your choices

In Flock Frenzy, the consent request described under Analytics and attribution decides whether analytics and attribution run at all.

You can also limit how your advertising ID is used, in both games, from your device settings at any time:

  • Android — Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
  • iPhone — Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"

On Android, "Delete advertising ID" is the stronger option: apps then receive a string of zeroes instead of an identifier. On iPhone, declining the tracking prompt withholds the IDFA from the advertising and attribution partners entirely.

Uninstalling a game removes the data stored on your device, including your progress.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data — including the right to access it, correct it, delete it, object to how it's used, or ask for a copy. These rights come from laws such as the GDPR (European Economic Area and UK) and the CCPA/CPRA (California).

To exercise any of them, email us. Because the games don't collect information that identifies you personally, we may need details — such as your device's advertising ID — to act on a request.

Do not sell or share my personal information

OlynaD Games does not sell your personal information for money. But personalised advertising in Civitas, and advertising measurement in Flock Frenzy, work by passing your device's advertising ID to the partners listed above — Google AdMob for Civitas, Adjust and Meta for Flock Frenzy — and California law (the CCPA as amended by the CPRA) treats that as sharing personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Some of it may also fall within California's broad definition of a sale. Comparable rules apply in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and a growing number of other states.

To stop it: decline when the consent request appears, or turn off ad personalisation with the device controls under Your choices. You can also email us with your device's advertising ID and we will pass the opt-out on to those partners. Opting out does not remove ads from Civitas, and it changes nothing else about either game.

Request deletion of your data

The games have no accounts, so there is no profile of you to delete. What exists is the technical, gameplay and advertising data described above, held against your device's advertising identifier or a random identifier created for your installation, rather than your name. You can have it removed in any of these ways.

Delete what is on your device

Uninstalling a game deletes everything it stored locally, including your progress, achievements and high scores. Nothing is kept on any server run by OlynaD Games, so once the app is gone, so is that data.

Reset the identifier used for ads

Deleting or resetting your advertising ID severs the link between your device and any data held against the old identifier by our partners:

  • Android — Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID"
  • iPhone — Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"

Ask us directly

Email dobryansky@olynad.fun with the subject "Data deletion request". Because we hold nothing that identifies you by name, please include your device's advertising ID — without it there is no way to find the records to delete. We will confirm within 30 days, and pass the request on to the third-party partners listed under Third-party services — for Flock Frenzy, that means GameAnalytics, Voodoo, Adjust and Meta.

Those partners are independent controllers of the data they hold, so you may also contact them directly. Each one's privacy policy, linked above, has its own deletion instructions.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Significant changes will also be noted in the games' store listings.
